The 1Password application will remain fully functional for the first 30 days after you install it. After this initial trial period, you will need to purchase a license to continue adding more items to 1Password.
License cards are made available to you immediately once your order is completed. Licenses will be delivered by email as well as displayed on the Order Completed page.
The Order Completed page is bookmarkable so be sure to bookmark it just in case your email receipt does not arrive. By adding support(at)agilewebsolutions(dot)com to your email whitelist you can avoid having the receipt email incorrectly identified as spam.
You can add the licenses to 1Password by clicking a single link in the Receipt Email.
If preferred, you can add your licenses by copy and pasting the license key details into the 1Password > Licenses > Add window.
We provide the ability to retrieve lost licenses and lost application downloads to you for no charge! You can resend your license yourself, or access it through the Customer Center. Additionally you can contact us directly.

When you purchase 1Password your license will never expire and you can use it on the current version of 1Password indefinitely. While the license itself will never expire, system updates from Apple could cause certain aspects of 1Password to stop working. For example, the Safari 3 upgrade stopped 1Password from working correctly and required an upgraded version of 1Password.
Historically Agile Web Solutions has been very generous with upgrades. Since we released 1Password two years ago we have given away over 75 free upgrades; you can see the version history page for details of each upgrade. We will be continuing this tradition for the foreseeable future, but someday there will be a paid 3.0 upgrade.
Paid license holders will get all 2.x upgrades for free. Eventually we will have a 3.0 release which will be a paid upgrade, but it will be a discounted upgrade for paid license holders. For those that purchase 1Password within 45 days of the 3.0 upgrade will receive the upgrade for free.
